For a while, all everyone wanted to wear was lip gloss–it’s easy and doesn’t require much effort (or a mirror). Lipstick, on the other hand, requires a mirror, a steady hand, and a commitment to not drinking anything for extended periods–but what you get in color pay-off and drama is way better than with gloss.
