Such was the case for Madeleine Brand, who recently made the leap from public radio station KPCC to a TV gig on KCET’s “SoCal Connected.” Her Twitter handle of choice was her name, but that was already taken, leaving Brand unsure how to, well, re-Brand. That’s when author and comedian Michael Ian Black, a man with 1.2 million Twitter followers and a whole lot of opinions, stepped in.
