Drew Hayes Back for Another Stint as KABC AM 790 Program Director

Chicago media columnist Robert Feder got the jump Monday on today’s big LA radio announcement. Drew Hayes, operations director with that city’s WLS-AM 980, is heading back out west to reunite with Cumulus Media’s Talk Radio KABC 790.

He replaces the recently departed Jack Silver as program director and in so doing slips back into the same set of responsibilities he held when KABC was owned by Walt Disney Co./ABC. From Feder’s report:

"I'm really excited for the next chapter," Hayes told me. "I appreciate the confidence that Cumulus has shown in me and in what we've built at WLS."
