Monique Lhuillier Talks Celebrity Brides and Red Carpet Dressing at the Opening of Her Very First Flagship Store Nov 28th 2012, 20:05 After 16 years in the biz, Monique Lhuillier opened her first New York flagship on 71st and Madison last night. The designer referred to the boutique as a ‘jewel box’ to highlight her designs, and the gorgeous Waterford chandeliers and grey suede walls certainly did just that. Housed in a 19th century townhouse, the 3000 square foot, two story space actually feels quite intimate thanks to small rooms and nooks throughout. We caught a quiet moment with Lhuillier, who juggles being a mother and wife with her super successful bridal and mainline collections. And she looks utterly glamorous while she does it.
