And the Only Nominees Are: The Hollywood Reporter and the Antelope Valley Press Oct 30th 2012, 12:45 It’s the LA Press Club’s version of David vs. Goliath. Or more precisely, Antelope Valley Press publisher William [C. Markham] vs. Hollywood Reporter editorial director Janice [B. Min]. While the AVP won the award in 2010 and was nominated again in 2011, this year’s National Entertainment Journalism Awards category of Entertainment Publication has whittled the nominees down to just them and The Hollywood Reporter. An odd sight, to say the least. For Entertainment Publication this year, there’s no Deadline (they boycotted), no Variety (they didn’t enter), no TheWrap, no LA Weekly, no Entertainment Weekly and no Vanity Fair.
