The fashion designer is behind the bright and non-traditional costumes to be worn by New York City Ballet principals Charles Askegard and Georgina Pazcoguin for their performances of the ballet Picnic. We chatted with the designer what it was like to design for ballet for the first time, and snagged some exclusive behind the scenes photos of the dancers being fitted for their costumes.
